During the busy summer season, the Wildwood Crest Police Department increases its staffing by employing Class II Special Law Enforcement Officers (SLEO II) to assist with the increase in call volume and population. SLEO II Officers working for the Wildwood Crest Police Department have various areas of responsibilities which include, but are not limited to:
- Traffic Stops
- Investigations
- Crowd Control
- Traffic Control
- Arrests
- Local Ordinance Complaints
- Patrol Functions
